Utilizing Digital Health Innovations to Manage Asthma
Trainees will be able to:
- Describe the role of digital technology in delivering asthma care to patients and their families outside of the traditional care setting.
- Describe the broad scope of digital health technologies to include telemedicine, telehealth, mobile health, and remote patient monitoring.
- Discuss the challenges and limitations in delivering asthma care using digital technology.
Session 1 Objectives:
- Describe the fundamental role of digital technology in delivering asthma care to patients and their families.
- Identify the challenges, limitations, and ethical considerations in delivering asthma care using digital technology.
AAE is introducing new initiatives to inspire and to provide additional benefits to our membership and the larger asthma education community. This effort is to strengthen the core of our membership to enhance our growing impact on asthma education through targeted engagement allowing you to utilize our programs more efficiently in your practice area. Please join us for an educational webinar detailing our virtual course, Utilizing Digital Health Innovations to Improve Asthma Management. This program will be presented in a 3 part series. Our Education Committee team and Program Leaders are excited to share the information with you and look forward to supporting your involvement.
